Dr Cameron Knapp
Dr Knapp was born and raised in Brisbane. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 2011 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He completed his intern and Junior Health Officer years at Rockhampton Base Hospital, before moving on to Gympie to complete his training in General Practice. Dr Knapp was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016. He has worked as a GP in Gympie and Noosa. Dr Knapp started part-time work in 2020 at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, as a GP with special interest in Rheumatology.
Dr Knapp has enjoyed working with the broad range of conditions seen in General Practice. He has particularly enjoyed managing complex chronic medical conditions, skin cancer medicine, and mental health conditions.
When not working, Dr Knapp enjoys spending time with his wife and their 1 year old daughter.
